At GG Lounge, our S.T.E.M. Internship & Path to Employment Program (PTEP) goes far beyond gaming and technology. We equip youth including those with special needs with the essential, transferable skills they’ll need to thrive in any career or community. Through hands-on experience, department rotations, and expert mentorship, participants learn not only about tech and digital media, but also:

• Managing Expectations: Setting goals, meeting deadlines, and learning accountability in a supportive environment.
• Customer Service: Building communication skills, patience, and professionalism while interacting with real customers and teammates.
• Information Sharing: Learning how to absorb, simplify, and teach complex topics—becoming tech educators and mentors for others.
• Teamwork & Leadership: Collaborating with diverse peers, taking initiative, and practicing leadership in real scenarios.
• Problem-Solving & Adaptability: Tackling challenges, troubleshooting issues, and thinking on their feet.
• Building Friendships & Networks: Making new friends, connecting with mentors, and becoming part of a positive, inclusive community.

Career Pathway Track
Duration: 10–12 weeks (customizable schedule)
Price: $1,100 per participant
Focus: In-depth, goal-oriented training. In addition to all the hands-on learning and mentorship of the Skill Builder Track, participants in the Career Pathway Track will:

• Specialize in a STEAM Field: Choose one of our in-demand STEAM courses—like Adobe Photoshop, Premiere Pro, PC Building, Coding, Content Creation, or more—or combine several to match your personal interests and career goals.
• Personalized Career Focus: Work closely with mentors to map out a path toward your goals, whether you want to join the GG Lounge team, work with a partner organization, or even start your own business.
• Professional Project Portfolio: Complete real projects and assignments drawn from your chosen STEAM course(s), building a portfolio that showcases your skills to future employers, schools, or collaborators.
• Leadership & Networking: Take on leadership opportunities, connect with industry professionals, and get support in resume writing, job applications, and interview prep.
